FlightScope's numbers
- Put the X3C 8 to 10 ft behind the tee.
- Indoors, leave at least 8 ft of ball flight from the tee to the net or screen.
- That adds up to about 16 to 18 ft from the unit to the net.
- Keep the path between the unit and the tee clear, and avoid fluorescent lights.
- FlightScope gives no number for ceiling height or room width.

Software that works with the X3C
Sheet D-2 · SoftwareThe simulator runs on your phone, tablet, PC or TV, not on the X3C. Third-party simulators run without a FlightScope membership, but they have their own cost.
| Software | Works with the X3C | Runs on | Cost | Good to know |

| GSPro | Yes | Windows PC (10 or 11) only | $250 a year | FlightScope staff say the X3C works with GSPro. GSPro's own list names the X3, not the X3C, so check before you buy. |

How much room do I need for an X3C?
Put the unit 8 to 10 ft behind the tee. Indoors, leave at least 8 ft of ball flight to the net. That is about 16 to 18 ft in total. FlightScope gives no ceiling or width number.
Source: flightscope.com
Does the X3C work with GSPro?
FlightScope staff say it does. GSPro's own list names the older X3 but not the X3C. FlightScope's FAQ says linking the X3C to other software needs an approved partner. Ask your dealer to confirm before you buy.

What does the X3C add over the Mevo Gen2?
It tracks the whole ball flight to the ground, gives more than 50 values, and includes Face Impact Location. It has self-leveling feet and a carbon fiber body. It costs about ten times as much.

What testers found
- Breaking Eighty, X3C review by Sean Ogle, 2025
Numbers were close to the Mevo+, but the X3C tracks the full flight and reads chips into a net more reliably. He says the Mevo+ is still the better buy for most golfers.
- Golfers Authority, X3C against TrackMan 4, October 2025 (the site also runs a shop)
In 50 seven-iron shots, carry was within 1 to 2 yards and spin within 100 rpm of the TrackMan. The test was informal, with no raw data.
