Foresight's new entry camera launch monitor from October 2026, not the discontinued original GC2 from 2010. It sits beside the ball, reads ball data only, and works with the Foresight App and Foresight+ software on a PC.

Foresight Sports's numbers
- The GC2 sits on the floor beside the ball and faces the hitting area, so you need no space behind you.
- The hitting zone is a small trapezoid, narrow near the unit and wider further out. Reviewers measure it at about 11 to 13 in deep and 12 to 14 in wide at the far edge.
- It works indoors and outdoors: in a garage, into a net, on the range and on the course.
- Foresight gives no number for room depth, distance to the net, ceiling height or room width on the pages we could read.

Software that works with the GC2
Sheet D-2 · SoftwareThe simulator runs on your phone, tablet, PC or TV, not on the GC2. Third-party simulators run without a Foresight Sports membership, but they have their own cost.
| Software | Works with the GC2 | Runs on | Cost | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foresight+ Free (Foresight App and Premier) | Yes | Foresight App on phone or tablet, Premier on a Windows 10 or 11 PC | Free | Core data views and 10 sessions of history. No courses. Every new device also gets a 30-day trial of the paid tiers. |
| Foresight+ Silver | Yes | Foresight App and Premier on a Windows PC | $199 a year | Unlimited history, practice drills and challenges. Needed before you can buy a Course Pass. No third-party software. |
| Foresight+ Gold | Yes | Foresight App and Premier on a Windows PC | $599 a year | Adds swing video, more profiles, club comparison and third-party software such as GSPro. Courses are extra. |
| Foresight Course Pass | With an add-on | Premier on a Windows PC | $295 a year, on top of Silver or Gold | 35 courses. Course Pass Pro costs $595 a year for the full library of about 111 courses. |
| GSPro | With an add-on | Windows PC (10 or 11) only | $250 a year, plus Foresight+ Gold at $599 a year | Foresight says only Gold members can use GSPro. GSPro's own device list does not name the GC2 (2026) yet. |

Questions people ask
Sheet F-1 · QuestionsIs the 2026 GC2 the same as the old GC2?
No. Foresight stopped making the original GC2 in June 2023. It launched a new GC2 on October 1, 2026, at $1,699. Reviewers say the new unit is built on the GC3 body, not a reissue.
Sources: foresightsports.com, firstcallgolf.com, amateurgolf.com
Do I need a subscription for the GC2?
Not for basic use. The unit shows ball data on its screen, and the free Foresight+ tier keeps 10 sessions. Silver costs $199 a year and Gold costs $599 a year. Courses need a Course Pass at $295 or $595 a year on top. New units get a 30-day trial.
Source: plus.foresightsports.com
Does the GC2 measure club data?
No. It reads the ball only. Reviewers say no Foresight+ tier adds club speed, path or face angle. For club data, look at the GC3 or GCQuad.

Can I use GSPro with the GC2?
Foresight says third-party software like GSPro needs Foresight+ Gold at $599 a year. GSPro costs $250 a year on top and runs on a Windows PC only. GSPro's own device list does not name the new GC2 yet.
Sources: plus.foresightsports.com, gsprogolf.com
What is in the GC2 box?
Reviewers list the GC2, a power cord and an alignment stick. There is no carrying case.

What testers found
- Plugged In Golf, Matt Saternus, 20 October 2026
Ball numbers matched the GCQuad on many shots. It had trouble finding yellow range balls in very bright sun, and it gives no club data.
- Golfers Authority, Paul Liberatore, 9 October 2026
Over about two weeks, a 7-iron read within two yards of an overhead TrackMan, with no misreads. Foresight lent the unit, and the site earns affiliate fees.
- PlayBetter (a store), 1 October 2026
Side by side with a GC3, carry read 123 yd against 122.6 yd, with two no-reads in a couple hundred shots.
