Software that works with the QuadMAX
Sheet D-2 · SoftwareThe simulator runs on your phone, tablet, PC or TV, not on the QuadMAX. Third-party simulators run without a Foresight Sports membership, but they have their own cost.
| Software | Works with the QuadMAX | Runs on | Cost | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foresight+ Free (Foresight App and Premier) | Yes | Foresight App on phone or tablet, Premier on a Windows 10 or 11 PC | Free | Core data views and 10 sessions of history. No courses. The QuadMAX includes 30 days of Gold with Course Pass Pro. |
| Foresight+ Silver | Yes | Foresight App and Premier on a Windows PC | $199 a year | Unlimited history, practice drills and challenges. Needed before you can buy a Course Pass. No third-party software. |
| Foresight+ Gold | Yes | Foresight App and Premier on a Windows PC | $599 a year | Adds swing video, more profiles, club comparison and third-party software. Courses are extra. |
| Foresight Course Pass | With an add-on | Premier on a Windows PC | $295 a year, on top of Silver or Gold | 35 courses. Course Pass Pro costs $595 a year for the full library. |
| FSX Play, FSX Pro and FSX 2020 (older licenses) | Yes | Windows PC | No longer sold to new buyers. Owners keep their one-time license. | Premier replaces FSX Play and FSX Pro. Old licenses get fixes, not new features. |
| GSPro | With an add-on | Windows PC (10 or 11) only | $250 a year, plus Foresight+ Gold at $599 a year | GSPro lists it as 'GCQuad Max'. Foresight says GSPro needs Gold, or an older FSX Play or FSX 2020 license. |
| Awesome Golf | With an add-on | iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows PC, Mac | From $14.95 a month ($179.40 a year) | Needs an active Foresight+ Gold membership. 14-day free trial. |

Questions people ask
Sheet F-1 · QuestionsWhat is the difference between the QuadMAX and the GCQuad?
Both use four cameras, the same size body and the same hitting zone. The QuadMAX is about 15% lighter, has a touchscreen and a bigger battery (7 to 9 hours), and adds speed training. It also comes with putting, which costs $2,500 extra on the GCQuad.

Does the QuadMAX need a subscription?
Not for basic use. It comes with 30 days of Foresight+ Gold and Course Pass Pro. After that, the free tier keeps 10 sessions. Silver costs $199 a year and Gold costs $599 a year. Courses need a Course Pass at $295 or $595 a year.
Sources: foresightsports.com, plus.foresightsports.com
Does the QuadMAX need the internet?
Yes, now and then. Foresight's manual says it must renew its online registration every 45 days. If it lapses, it still works on its own screen, but it cannot send data to apps or software. It is also locked to the region where you bought it.
Source: support.foresightsports.com
How much room does the QuadMAX need?
It stands beside the ball, about 22 in away, so you need no space behind you. Foresight gives no room size, net distance or ceiling height. Plan for a full swing in both directions if left- and right-handed golfers will use it.

What testers found
- PlayBetter (a store), 8 February 2024
Against the GCQuad, the QuadMAX adds apex, descent angle and offline on the unit, plus a touchscreen, speed training and a bigger battery. Size, hitting zone and cameras are the same.
- AmateurGolf.com buying guide, 26 October 2026
It has the same club data as the GCQuad and adds putting. New units come with a 30-day Foresight+ Gold trial. This is a buying guide, not a test.
